Magee Technologies, LLC, dba MTech has assumed control of a 7,800 square foot facility located in St. Mary’s County’s Aero Park District. Nearly doubling MTech’s manufacturing footprint, the building’s intended use is aircraft hangar storage and manufacturing space. “Our customers’ demands have pushed us to look for more space here in St. Mary’s County,” MTech President Mike Magee said, “This new agreement allows us to absorb former Pax Aero assets like fabrication tools used in the aerospace sector, finishing equipment, design software, and the most valuable asset, additional skilled staff members.”

The agreement was finalized this week. Chris Woodburn, one of the new staff members to join the team at MTech expressed his excitement. “We’ve watched MTech grow over the years.” Woodburn joined MTech after 8 years with Pax Aero, LLC as their Operations Manager. “It’s a small community,” Woodburn added, “I’ve come to know some of the shop staff.  It’s a talented, dedicated group.  I can’ t wait to see how the combined resources take the company to the next level.”

The facility is located at 44183 Airport Rd. It was formerly stewarded by Pax Aero Solutions, LLC. The additional 7,800 square feet now gives MTech just under 23,000 total square feet of manufacturing space.
